Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff works closely with the CEO to multiply the CEO’s productivity to achieve company objectives and milestones. This is a unique opportunity to see every aspect of a fast-growing company at the CEO level.

Your responsibilities include both directed work that is mostly guided by the CEO as well as leadership work that is self-directed. Over time, the mix will shift from majority directed work to majority leadership work, culminating in a leadership position.

You Will:

• Act as a gatekeeper: ensure the CEO’s involvement in project or decision-making processes takes place at key times when input and authority are most needed.
• Ensure all upcoming meetings are relevant and well-structured and the preparation is complete and correct. Ensure action items coming out of meetings are implemented.
• Act as communication arm for the CEO with team members, clients, investors.
• Create investor updates, speeches, and presentations on behalf of the CEO.
• Brief CEO visitors on Arctop before they visit. Serve as proxy for the CEO by attending meetings in place of the CEO.
• Act as a sounding board for new ideas and initiatives; with the team solve big critical problems with long-term implications.
• Take ownership of a mixture of big and small, short and long-term tasks and strategic projects including running special projects that are urgent and important.

You Have:

• A college degree or equivalent work experience at a fast-growing startup, strategy consulting or venture capital firm.
• Experience with data analytics and basic fluency with scientific figures.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams successfully.
• Successful history in project coordination and reporting.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record (sometimes driving will be required).
